My first clear focus of a Bumblebee
It is just me or does this fly actually appear to have really fine fur?
Sure, practice makes perfect but, unless you learn from your mistakes, you are only perfecting your ability to fail.
and yes it does look like the fly has fur lol

The Time Capturer wrote: All my macro shots are handheld and I use an 18-55mm lens reversed with a reversing ring. I don't have a lot of DOF to play with and keeping my shaky body still is difficult ... that's why most are not perfectly focused. I use the camera's pop-up flash with a homemade difuser on the end of the lens.
I do have extension tubes now but haven't had a chance to use them.
For hand held they are really good.
