Alternative to Model Mayhem?

I'm looking to build out my portfolio of head shots, where else are you finding your models? How much are you paying for a model for 2 hours?

Canon 5D Mark II | Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM | Canon 35L | Sigma 85 1.4 | Helios 44M-6 58mm(M42) | Zeiss 50mm 1.4 (C/Y) | Canon 135L | (2) 430EX II

Check out onemodelplace.com

Back in the modeling day, I was paid anywhere from $25-$50/hr. Depending on the photographer and what the shoot was.

If you are looking to just build your portfolio, do tfp (time for prints) or tfcd (time for CD). Make sure you have the model sign a model release form.

That is a good idea, do they charge a minimum number of hours?

Yea and now people are getting models from facebook. I know plenty of photographers who get seniors from facebook.
