Back from California....Had a good time at my nephews wedding. Took photos of the wedding activities but not much else. No macro shots...I'm attaching 3 shots I took at the "Casa Romantica" in San Clemente, where the wedding took place

Welcome back scott. It looks like it was a lot of fun.

Weather was just gorgeous except for the breezes that didn't stop ( would have been hard for macro shooting had I done any). Temps were in the low to mid 70's during the day & mid 60's at night. My wife was cold but I loved it. While Dana Point was really nice, I preferred San Clemente's views. The shots I posted were from the "Casa Romantica"'s grounds.

We were real close to bumping into one another. The temp was great but that sun in Cali is definitely hot. The difference between sun and shade was amazing. I don't think they have an ozone layer out there.

Welcome back Scott! When I saw your post, I wondered to myself, I wonder if he took his Lester A. Dine 105mm with him? Great pics!

I live 30 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean in Oregon. No shortage of breezes here as well. It might very well be the reason that very few of the local shooters are really into macro that much. Very few days without a little breeze or wind.

It is what it is.
