Can compressed air be used to clean out insides of camera?

I have a puffer air thing, but wondering if I could use canned compressed air to clean out the debris/dust that might be inside my camera?

On photos when they come up on my computer I can see a couple spots and I've blown air with my puffer a few times. However the spots remain, so I'm wondering if more powerful air if that might do the trick?

I hope not to crazy of question, either way I really appreciate the assistance guys.

I've heard mixed opinions of it, but I like to err on the side of safety when it comes to something as important and expensive as my camera sensor. What kind of air puffer are you referring to? The Rocket Blast is pretty good, depending what you're using it might be an improvement.

Isn't there moisture that comes out of those cans? I was told not to use compressed canned air for that reason.

Yeah, that's a good point, too. I didn't even think about that!

NO. Compressed air can include lubricants that you DO NOT want inside your gear.

Plus the pressure is enough to move dust hard enough to scratch your sensor or lens.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

I only used compressed can air to clean out my computer. Never used it on my camera. Have you ever put that air to your hand, it's a bit strong.
