Levitating Photograph?

How do you create a levitating photograph? I have seen photos where people are in the air posing, nothing underneath them. Looks way too good to be photoshop.

It wouldn't suprise one bit if at least half of those types of photos are photoshop. It wouldn't be too difficult to take a picture of a living room with a chair in it. Then a picture of the person sitting in a chair, open the two pictures in photoshop and erase the chair to make it appear that the person is levitating.

The really difficult way to make these images is to actually levitate... :woohoo:

The key to it is to not die while doing it.

Death is a whole different category of levitation... no levity intended! :woohoo:

Rob does this when he's shooting hockey! - when the players' feet leave the ice and he's freezing the action. They just don't levitate very far because hockey players never pose the way you want! LOL

Thanks Tam for sharing that link, I've seen the YowaYowa site before but wouldn't have remembered the name, she're really taken it to an art form of sorts, doing some interesting compositions.
