I teach photoshop all the time, which is a huge part of photography.

I'll be team teaching photography to 9-12 yr olds at a community center with our Camera Club. That should be fun.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

Would love to teach photography but find that is somewhat the thing we all do here. There are a few Teachers here on the boards, Pops is one of them who teaches a formal class. I just give advise on shooting sports with hockey in particular.

That sounds like alot of fun. Baydream, is your camera club charging a fee or is it free to all?

That is true. Those who know photography on the boards teach those who are new to photography and photoshop.

Pretty much. Photoshop seems to be the hard one for people to grasp.

Once you get the concept of layers, it's extremely easy.

I've helped teach a course on Photography. It was mainly in Cantonese so I couldn't be the head teacher, but I did OK.

It is at a non-profit Community Center for inner city youth after school. The club raised funds via an antique camera auction, Canon supplied 14 A3100 cameras and the local camera store upgraded the cards and is donating printing services. The club is supplying teachers and assistants. Most of these kids have never handled a camera.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

starting next week, I will be teaching Picasa at an organization that offers classes in many subject to persons over 50. The Lifetime Learning Institute charges folks $150/yr and then you can sign up for as many classes as you like (space permitting). We have a classroom for 16 but 51 people signed up so I will be doing 2 or 3 classes this Spring. LLI also has a popular beginning digital photography class.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.
