Question about getting GPS cordinates in your photos

Really dumb question, if I just take a photo in the woods or where ever. Will there be any recorded data to show me later where that photo was taken? What options are there for getting GPS coordinates in my photos?

While on topic, if I take a photo with my cell phone and upload it. Will that at least show location?

Well if the camera doesn't have a GPS hooked up to it, there will be no way of getting that data. Photos taken by phone is a good question. I'm still leaning towards no, but I've never checked this before.

Something like the JOBO photo GPS will store the data and you can transfer it to the files back on the computer.
Take a look at the EXIF data to see if the phone captured the data.

Some newer cameras have begun to include GPS built-in.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

Really? Would you happen to know which?
