Yes, that's the one. Especially if you're aiming at the wedding crowd.

You could make it a choice - Nikon D800 or Canon 5DMIII so that way whoever wins can pick from whichever team they're already on.

aldyn - exactly what we were thinking :agree:

We've also heard some people talk about the Fuji X100. Not quite as mainstream, but apparently a pretty slick camera? Thoughts on that one?

A choice is a good idea. I wouldn't complain about winning a D800, but I'd rather have a 5DMkIII because I'm already invested in Canon gear. I'm sure Nikon shooters would say exactly the reverse of that.

Yeah the D800/E either would be great for me. As meyer said the Canon owners would want their top end. I think the way a good contest would be is that you leave the top prize the top of the line model for any camera manufacturer within your budget of course. This would allow for the maximum amount of participants.

I don't need the D800, would have sold it if I won it in the last contest.

Personally, I'd like to win a D7000, but you wanted to toss a D4 or D3S my way I wouldn't complain.

:agree: on the 5DMkIII.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.
