I used to spend a lot of time in Yosemite, but it got way too crowded for me. Petitions do little in such a corrupt state. Some thirty years ago a move to drain Hetch Hetchy was very popular, but the big money power corporations shot that idea down. There is another Yosemite valley under a lake! I think the irrigation lobby were also a factor. Restricting vehicle access is not a new idea either. As long as we ALLOW politicians to manage money and resources at will, our money and resources will be mismanaged...... :(

(Convoluted bump)

Why so serious?

So beautiful, shame to even think about altering that.

:agree:
Yeah pretty much so. Enjoy it while you can because eventually it will be inaccessible under Agenda 21. Much of the public lands will be restricted eventually.

Not since the late 70s myself, and I was not there for photography, I was there for climbing.
