Can 'Level's be adjusted from within the camera?

I'm talking about being able to set my black and white points on the histogram making the histogram to fit in the custom parameters that I want.  Can this be done?  I have a Nikon D700 if that makes any difference in the answer.

Thank you

No.
That's the kind of thing you do in your post processing software, like LightRoom.

Or do multi-shot HDR. Again, best done in PP.

Also I might add that if you could it would be like using sliders in PS, and son on, instead of using the curves adjustment. This would most likely cause a lot of clipping. Now you can use the sliders in post, but only for very minor tweaks, if you need major adjustments then curves is the right tool.

I don't see how or why you would want to do this, the LCD's are so small vs computer monitor.  I bet errors in accuracy would be an issue with having levels adjustment on camera.
