Not sure if you all have seen these photos, but pretty good examples of why not to discount your iPhone just yet.  lol     www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/08/14/iphone...119&utm_medium=email

Some nice ideas there, but consistently noisy. Really ruins it for me.

At least they're in focus, which is more than you can say about most mobile phone photos.

That first image looks like it had some serious post processing, would like to see out of camera phone

Noise did not bother me. Some shoot Lomo to get an 'unpure' feel.

Would have liked to see unprocessed shots too.

+1
Sometimes feels like a post processing competition, which is a little disappointing as I was excited to see what people could do with their iphone.

Us poor mere smartphone users left out again.  Sorry my phone doesn't have an apple on it, not good enough for the competition?

Anyway, I like some of them.  Very nice, proves how editing and lighting help a photo a lot.  Some were a bit so so, but that's just my opinion.

Well, they are photos taken with a phone.  I could get all technical and say, well they did a good job on the composition (some of them) and the technical limitations of the phone is just that.
