Interesting to see Apples new iPhone 6 going up against a $3400 professional DSLR   www.redmondpie.com/iphone-6-plus-vs-cano...y-comparison-photos/

Canon 7D, 15-85mm, 18-55mm, 70-200mm, 100mm Macro, Sigma 120-300mm, Speedlite 430EX II

A bad day at the race track is better than a good day in the office

It's like comparing a Smart car and a Ferrari.  The Smart car gets you to your location just fine.  It's the Ferrari that get's you there quicker.

Seriously? That's a comparison? Hardly much there that's noteworthy.

Apple did manage to make so big improvements on the camera from the iPhone 5.  But to compare it up against a 5D?

Media trying to milk more attention from the Apple techies or those that would be shocked from such a comparison

"An in-studio snap of a stapler was damningly in favor of the DSLR, though, iPhone 6 Plus result didn’t do bad either."

Ahh... no... the iphone did a horrible job... stop trying to make it sound good.

In every single comparison (even in bright sunshine) the 5Diii killed the iphone 6 (no suprise) yet the writer tried to make it out like the iphone was still good.

"In then simply focusing on the details, the DSLR once again won hands-down, but once again, the iPhone 6 Plus gave a solid account of itself."

Well if you mean a tiny sensor with tiny lens took a photo of something, then yes I suppose this is right.

That's the thing I guess, a phone shouldn't be every considered a proper imaging tool.  It can take photos in the same way a cheap point and shoot would yes, but that's where it ends.  These comparisons are retarded.

Well if the writer had positioned the iPhone 6 for what it is, it wouldn't read so bad.  Crazy test, yes.  Just wrong direction IMO

D300| Nikkor 24-70mm 2.8 | Nikkor 70-200mm VR 2.8 | Nikkor 50mm 1.8 | Nikon 2x Teleconverter | Sigma 105mm 2.8 | Tokina 12-24

Do I detect a little cynicism in that post?
Well I think that he should do a head to head against the Blad with the Mamiya 80MP back. I bet the iMoan will wipe the floor with it. Or wipe somebodys bum more than likely. Some of these iDiots do make the world an entertaining place.
