Yet more photographic stupidity...

People are just idiots.  So if you are on a plane and some idiot terrorist is threatening to blow up the plane.

What do you do?

1.  Stay calm and let the professionals defuse the situation
2. Hope there is an air Marshall on the flight who has the skills to deal with these situations.
3.  Take a selfie with the not so right terrorist and hope you can Tweet and get more likes before you pi$$ off the terrorist.

I saw this somewhere yesterday, on the news I think? Seems like poor judgment in that situation.

Ok first of all, I had to make sure this wasn't The Onion. Second of all, the media needs to stop referring to regular pictures of people as selfies. A "selfie" is a picture taken of yourself, by yourself. This is NOT a selfie, someone took this picture. Which means, who took this picture!?

I was going to say the same thing!  Not a selfie, someone else was part of the process.  This is just a poor choice of a photo.  One that I bet others will try to duplicate or do 'better'.

Here we go again.

Well it's the media's fault too for amplifying these stories for more 'soon to be idiots' to get inspired by.  I get it, the media wants to get traffic, sell papers, so they publish crap like this.  In all reality.  Many of the crimes committed today, would not happen if the media wasn't so about publishing everything!

Well not really much of a surprise, people raising this bar everyday.

. . . not so right terrorist . . .

That is a key part.  This was not yer common variety terrorist.  If the "selfie" act helped de-fuse the situation, then no harm done.  I wasn't there so I will not judge.
