Ritz Camera

OK, it's been a long day and perhaps I need to get some rest.  However I could have sworn that Ritz Camera was closed down years ago.  I just went to  www.ritzcamera.com and the website is still up.

When I was growing up, there was a couple stores near by where I lived and those are no longer there.  Was this company bought out by someone or are they just online these days?

They are still around on-line. The website says there are 2 stores left.

2 stores left?  Back in the day, they were all over the place!

Ritz and Wolf!  Old school brands crushed from B&H and Amazon.

They were crushed by their own inventory incompetence, failure to move to digital fast enough, lack of quality employees and high rents.....They "crushed" themselves.

Why so serious?

:agree: 100% agree.  Have any of you been in B&H store in person?  Notice how those sales people are?  Huge difference compared to Ritz and Wolf.  You can tell why B&H does so well, their people shine above the rest.

I remember these...really strange that the last two surviving stores are in Salt Lake City and Bethesda, Maryland of all places.
