Those that are printing their own photos

Do you rotate your prints in your home?  I've run out of space, with out things getting cluttered.  The problem is, what to do with older images that I want to rotate out.  What are you doing with all these old prints?

My wife "rotates" them. It seems once I tire of a photo, I usually give it to the first guest in my house that compliments it. Over the years I've given away quite a few. Its kind of cool to visit a friend and see my photo hanging in a prominent location.

Why so serious?

I don't print that many, and when I do need to swap out something.  I just toss out the old.

Whoops!  I was thinking about answering two threads yesterday, and it looks like I answered the wrong one.  I just toss out old prints when needed.

And and for the watermark question, yep you guessed it.  I don't!

G'day all

I also have this problem - living in an apartment there's not heaps of wall space unrequired for other things

Some years ago I purchased some picture frames with easily removable backs, so that I can undo the back & swap out / swap in a matted print. The frames are either 11" x 14" containing a 8" x 12" print or 36" x 10" for panos of around 28-30" wide x 8" wide

It does mean that I end up with boxes of matted prints that I don't know what to do with - I certainly don't chuck 'em in the bin! ... some I have donated to local clubs / charities for fund raising events

Hope this helps

I primarily print for others rather than my own, but when I do want to switch something out thats hanging on my wall, I have a portfolio that I stick my unprotected prints in. I don't have any huge pieces of art, so that helps, too.
