Putting aside my garden, yes photography puts the most strain on my bank account.

Photography is far more than just a hobby for me.  Now is it one of the more pricier things I enjoy?  It's a close call with my bi-annual trips to Vegas.  But will say it' up there.

Yes and no.  If talking about when I need something, yes.   However when you factory in how long this stuff last and the frequency of replacement, no it’s not the most expensive.

Between my hand held cameras and many quadcopters, yes. This is a very expensive hobby! Just to add though, cruising 3 times a years adds up too!

That's where the cost come in, lenses and then when you think are you are done, you have your drone temptation to itch.  DJI doesn't help with releasing smaller drones.  I have a Phantom 3, but now I'm shopping around for the Mavic 2.

Does traveling count?   I have a couple that are close, but photography is the winner of this one.

Does automotive count?  If so, photography is #2 for me
