Best photography conferences 2020

I would like to attend a photography conference in 2020.  Which would you consider going to if you had the time and cost wasn't a concern?  *Price is always a concern, but I want to see what I can afford to travel too.

Thank you

I'll start: why? What does a conference offer that a workshop wouldn't?

There aren't very many options in the US: Imaging USA (PPA), WPPI, Shutterfest, PhotoPlus, Out of Chicago. Everything else will be smaller.

A quick web search (using those exact terms) comes up with the same candidates repeatedly. It's going to depend upon length, location, and focus. E.G. PPA is primarily about portraiture; WPPI is mostly about weddings. Research each, then perhaps solicit opinions about the most likely candidates?

Yup. Personally, I'd spend money on gear first.

Why so serious?

Expos are fun to go to.  If a large show you get to touch all sorts of new gear.

Canon 5D Mark II | Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM | Canon 35L | Sigma 85 1.4 | Helios 44M-6 58mm(M42) | Zeiss 50mm 1.4 (C/Y) | Canon 135L | (2) 430EX II
