Shooting stars in ares with light pollution?

If I get a star tracker and am able to take longer exposures, will that allow me to photograph through light pollution?

No, you're in for an expensive deception!

The long exposures will give the stars more time to impress
the sensor but that goes for the light pollution as well.

Yep, no substitute to getting out in the dark, REAL dark.  Down load 'dark sky' app and follow that to best spots.  City/manmade Light is your enemy at night.

Hey thanks everyone.  Well it was worth the question, I really appreciate your help.

Thought, was hoping that those night filters would have some hope to them.

can't be taken out!
