How many cameras do you own?

3 years 8 months ago #693235 by Chester Foster
While I only use my GH5, I have (2) GH4 and the original Sony A7R, which I haven't used in a very long time.  All this gear looks good in my man cave, but seldom does it get used.  Again I'm only using just the GH5.

Don't overread this topic, I'm just making small talk.  How many cameras do you own total?

Just one right now.  No need for anything else ATM.  I'm assuming this doesn't include my iPhone.

One bridge camera.

I have....well over 20 but they range from older movie cameras (like the Revere 8, Bell & Howell Filmo 70), box cameras, to TLR (Yashica Mat 124G, Anscoflex), I've got the litter cameras my dad gave me to use when I was a kid the Hawkeye instamatic x, hawkeye instamatic 2 and the instamatic 44. I've got 5 instant cameras the Polaroid Land camera 100, the Minolta instant pro, the kodak handle and a fuji instax 7 and instax 9. Umm...Voigtlander Bessamatic Deluxe, Petri 7s with some extra lenses, Ricoh SLX 500, Minolta XD-11, a camera kit that I built myself my husband bought me for my birthday last year and most of them I haven't used....yet. My goal is to actually use the ones I can still find film for and see what their picture qualities are like. Right now it's mainly finding a nice way to display them where I can get to them easily and keep them out of the sun.

That many cameras would look great displayed throughout a wall!

20?  Dang, that's a lot of cameras!

Yeah, I have 3, well 2, I'm not going to count my iPhone, but really only use one.

I'm taking a guess, I have 13 in the house right now but I have more in storage and yes I want to find a nice way to display them. Some have the original leather cases, others have just big camera cases honestly having inherited most of them from my dad I wish I had known he had all of them while he was alive because the only one any of us ever saw him use was the Minolta and that was around his neck all the time. I don't know how many of them actually work either I'll have to print out manuals and do some playing around. I'll have to upload more pictures once they're all in the house and cleaned up.
