DSLR Decision Help

Hello,

I'm looking to get opinions on what the best camera would be for skyline (day/night), portrait and landscape photography.  I want to print my photos at 36"W x 24"H.  My budget is about $1,500.  I currently have a Nikon D7500,  but I'm concerned in may not have the MPs or sensor size for printing the photos to that size.   My wife also wants a camera so we have been looking at:

• D610
• D750
• 90D
• EOS 5DS

Can anyone share some thoughts or recommendations?  Also, should I be concerned about buying a refurbished camera body?

Here is something that you should watch related to big prints and what camera is needed to do it. Any one of the cameras that you have listed are considerably better than really necessary for big prints. A camera with 20 megapixels is more than enough, even to make a billboard image. It doesn't need to be an Olympus like he uses, so pick a camera that you are comfortable using that has the buttons and knobs located in the places that feel right for you. All of the better quality cameras on the market today take great pictures. It's a Ford/Chevy/Chrysler type of thing. All of your choices will do what you want. Make your decision based on which one fits your hands and your way of taking photos the best. Most camera stores will let you hold and even take a few shots. To be more convinced, many camera stores will let you rent equipment, so you can be certain that you choose the camera that is best for you.



In my opinion, you don't need to spend that much on a camera to get good quality prints as large as you want, and I'm not even talking about billboard size, like in the link, but do get yourself some good lenses to go with your camera of choice. Twenty megapixels is way more than enough for what you are attempting, but you also need to make certain that the photos will be printed on a high quality photo printer to get the best results. It isn't just the camera, but the software, and finally the photo quality wide format printer that gets used to print your photos. Of course, you also need a good pc that's capable of running the software. For prints this large, many photographers take, and then process their photos themselves, but then send the processed photos out for printing. Find a reputable printer near you, if you go this way.

Not really if it was done by the maker's trained technicians
and comes with a guaranty.
