Real photo or Photoshop?

Take a look at these photos, do you think these was the results of some good work in Photoshop or some crafty photography work with some "extra equipment"? ;)

Thanks again to Anacortes ( www.buytelescopes.com ) Today's shots are from a photographer named "Peter Lardizabal". These are a couple of his 10+ pages of photos, if you would like to see more of his photos OR to see what was used to take these shots, here's his gallery .

A rising moon combined with the compression distortion of a tele would give this effect, esp if taken from a mid latitude point.

Impossible to tell really.

Tough one, but I went to the site and it looks like they guy used a telescope for this shot. Pretty cool if you ask me!

Looks legit to me. Sure, a talented chopper could manipulate a photo this way, but it's fully plausible that a digi-scoped camera captured this scene the old fashioned way too.

2 things likely occurred:

1. The photographer probably took this shot somewhere high altitude, like an observatory site. That jet is very far away, and there would be a lot of atmosphere in the way. It's unlikely you could capture this so sharp shot at sea level.

2. Maybe not manipulated, but heavily post-processed. Judging by the angle of light hitting the jet, it was taken late morning or mid-afternoon, and that means a very low contrast daytime moon. To get this kind of clarity you'd need some hefty contrast adjust in PP.
