Shooting a few items to go online

13 years 2 months ago #36637 by Moossmann
I'm selling some stuff I have cleared out of the garage. I bought a light tent and was trying to take some photos of some items and the items keep coming out under exposed. I know for a fact the camera is set to correct exposure. I don't have any fancy lights and just using garage flood lights on each side of the light tent. But I think I might be doing something wrong? Help please.

If you get some of those halogen "work lights" and light the outside of the light tent, that will brighten them up. Saw that in a small studio recently.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

:agree: Also you might want to consider that your camera's meter could be getting tricked, I would bump up your exposure compensation to get that back ground more white also.
