PP too Happy

Ever take notice that some people are too much into post processing? What's wrong with having a normal photo? Not over saturated, 1 toned, colored stencil etc.. photos.

:agree:

I lament that I often over process a shot. Sometimes I do good and other times I do too much good. Almost every shot needs something - a little crop, contrast tweak, lighten/darken, burn, dodge... you can see where this is leading :woohoo:
What I often end up with is two versions of an image that look totally different. I tend tyo over spice my food as well... Sigh.

I like to 1) get my photos realistic, and 2) then choose if I want a copy that looks "different", Rearely do I do 2 without 1.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

While yes I agree wit you Crystal, I also agree with MrEfron. While I despise over processing it is the persons option, I will just choose to tell them it sucks if they ask. I have and always will try to get the photo as close to the conditions I saw. I went through my edgy images with 400+ ISO B&W film in the good old Punk Rock days.

I prefer realistic images but have a few "overprocessed" images that I like as well
