How can I take a picture of people wearing glasses without getting a reflection?

Light angle is going to have a lot to do with it, as is camera angle. A polarizing filter can also help.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

If they don't mind too much, just smash the glass out of the rims. Problem solved.....:)

Why so serious?

:agree: then when you add a flash this adds to the complexity of getting a glare not to show up! I have yet to master this one

If you raise the stems of the glasses up slightly, so they aren't fully resting on their ears. It "shines" the glasses down slightly and hopefully the reflection will be below your camera. Give it a try.

Hope you find a fix that works for you.

Take two exposures - one with the glasses and one without. Photoshop their eyeballs onto any glare orrrrr.... Ask them to remove the glasses.

I often look over the top of the rims so my eyes aren't lost in reflection.

There is a non glare or should I say non reflective lens available but the cost might be rather high.

Can't you just photoshop the glare from the glasses? I thought there was a way for this?
