Do you use display protective screen?

How many of you use a protective screen to cover the display screen on your camera? I have had one on my D90 and just cleaned a bunch of gunk under it. I was wondering if these are bad for the camera's display screen. You know like a car's bra that can collect dirt under it and it slowly damages the paint under it?

I dont use the stock Nikon plastic cover I have the GGS screen protectors which let no dirt under them because they are glass and are adhered to the LCD screen. Also the are under $20 and well worth the cost.

Use the stock d700 one, and on the D3s I use a hoodman's protective screen.

Funny, I just got rid of the original one that was on my old 5D. It had some gunk under it too. I guess it's time for a hoodman, or at the least a packet of the disposable ones.

I use the one that clips right into the back of the camera
