Print Swap anyone?

13 years 3 weeks ago #47195 by durr3
We are announcing another print swap.

Here's how it works:

You will be put into groups of 6. You send prints to 5 people in your group and they send prints to you.

8 x 10 minimum size
b/w or color
traditional print or digital print
any subject
signed
include a few details about your photo. (camera, subject, settings, etc.)

That's pretty much it.

If you would like to join us, send me your mailing address and you are in.

No, Not I.

I'm not into giving away my photos for no reason.
What is the point to this print swap?

It is an interesting suggestion but probably not one that avid photographers would be inclined to accept. This does not have anything to do with "friendliness" but this is not a recipe exchange. Foe many, these are our intellectual property and have "cash value".
Nice thought, just the wrong forum.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

It is a friendly forum. but you can not expect to come onto a forum and your first post be this type of post and not expect to get this kind of reaction.

You told us nothing about the print swap except how to swap prints.

so what is the point of the print swap?
Is there a site that has more info?
If no site, can you give more info?
Can you send email address to those who already done the print swap, so we can contact them to ask them if they like the idea of swapping their prints?
who are you?

I agree. I also would like to know more before sending my prints out. I am very much into searching the web for info on something I have no idea about. Give more info on this print swap, and I would consider.

Thanks Guys, but I think you are right. This forum may not be the right place.

I have swapped prints with professional photographers from Tokyo to Alaska.

I will retract my post, if possible.

retracting post is not a feature we can do yet. It's ok you ask, but we just needed more info, that's all.
