Do any of you better photographers ever have any ?s to ask?

I'm browsing around this forum and I see some people are always answering questions (which is great, it helps us people who know nothing). lol But those same people who are only answering, I don't see them post a question. Is it because you are really good at photography and you don't have any questions to ask? :)

I'm one of those that answer a lot of questions, but I don't claim to know all there is to know...Normally when I need an answer to a technical question, I'll go to a tech website that specializes in whatever it is that I need to know about. For instance, My weak point is studio lighting. I'll go over to the Stobist website for answers to any questions I may have. Plus Google will tuen up answers for a lot of things as well...You just have to word your inquiry correctly so as to get pertinent information...

I try to answer as many questions as I can, but I also ask questions, if you feel the time has come when you dont need to ask questions then you have decided to stop learning, there is always more out there to dicover so why would you stop, I will be looking for answers till the day I drop.

Truth be known I learn the answer to many questions I have never even thought to ask. Someone has a problem, I recognize that I have no idea of the answer but sure enough someone answers and I learn from it. Individually there are a few of us lost in the dark but collectively we know a lot!

I join the entire gang here. Each one reflects a part of my experience. I have not gotten into off-camera/studio lighting but read the comments and articles in preparation. The same goes for macro into which I am just venturing. As I stumble on a subject and can not find the answer, I will ask these folks.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

I think the previously posted messages have said it well. I read everything I can get my hands on and I use the Internet and Google a lot. There are many questions that I have where I just Google them. I may read 8-12 articles so as not to depend on the viewpoint of any one article. Google and the Internet have made things possible (and for free) so that I can learn virtually anything I want. There are several areas of photography that I plan to become much more knowledgeable about including shooting and processing panoramas, taking more photos of people and using some of the various portrait software that's available, learning the ins and outs of composites, and shooting more long exposure night shots. I'm sure that I'll continue to have lots of questions. I'll look for answers anywhere and everywhere including PhotographyTalk. And, I'll also continue to learn from the questions of others that are addressed here.

How do I take a good picture every time?

For me it's because most of my questions are pretty basic and have already been asked on here many times. LOL So I just cruise through old posts and some of the really informative video tutorials and get a lot of info that way. So yeah... I have lots of questions, and an entire internet of information at my finger tips. Next time I come up with a unique question I'll be sure to share it here.

Why don't my DSLRs have a DOF calculator in the software that would display on the LCD?

Where is the sweet spot between photo receptor size and photo receptor count?

Lot of people here presuming they're good photographers....

I'm not that good, but I like to pretend I am.

I am one who answers a lot at times and just reads the others answers at times when not busy. I specialize so I don't have many questions to ask in the area of my specialty- sports. I do have lots of questions but learn from others answers. Experience should count for something after years of learning and researching various photographic subjects don't you think ?
