Portfolio building shoot and a product question?
To me it looks interesting but I am not sure it is worth the cost for me right now. I only have my speedlights for lighting and will be shooting some portfolio building work in the coming weeks so I want them to be as well lit as possible. I plan on using a tripod and my remote to get the kids as comfortable as possible. Yet I also want them lit well. I will be shooting outside. My flash kit is (1) 270 EX Speedlight, (1) 550 EX Speedlight, a small on flash soft box, a bounce dome for each flash and a reflector coming in the mail this week. I don't have a remote to use the flash off camera but an looking into light options. Is there something in your box of tricks that's an absolute for lighting? I am continuing to learn with my flash and want as many diffusing options as I can afford so I can shoot in many situations.
Once I get my portfolio built up I plan on doing on location shooting for mainly high school seniors. I know I need a portable studio set up but that's next years budget blow out
If you can understand me any advice, help or pointing in the right direction to spend my money, let me have it!
