What drives you to be a better photographer?
It's hard to explain....
I love what I do (as I sure we all do)
I just go out and shoot. Yes I learn new tips and tricks from forums, sites etc.. but learning all that is from simple browsing. I don't go searching for it. I just keep clicking this link, that link etc..
Then when I go out, if I remember, I'll do it. If I don't remember, it's ok, cuz I shoot what I see. And what I see is just awesome.
What drives me is I love nature all around, and I love to capture it.

MJ, same here, just for a much longer period. I loved photography when I was very young (as well as other artsy things such as woodwork and leather craft). However, very well meaning parents dissuaded me from my passions saying that that was all well and good but you can't make a living doing that stuff you need to get a real job. Oh well, they thought that that was the right thing. Any how I started to get back into photography again when I was in the Navy back in the late 70's but once I got out, life got in the way and again I did not follow through. So, a little over a year ago, I started back in once again, with a little FujiFilm P&S cam and then got a really good deal on a used Nikon D3000 (my first DSLR since my Navy days and my current camera) However I am not wanting to sink much money into accessories for it as I really want to get into Canons line and I'm really betwixt and between the 60D and the 7D. Any how I digress (often and easily)
So, this time I am serious about it and am currently taking (correspondence) classes through NYIP and would like to go professional. Still trying to figure out my style/niche, but I am thoroughly enjoying learning and experimenting. There just is something in my soul that is driving me to lean as much as I can. I love, love, love letting my creativity loose once again and hope to be able to make a living following my passions at long last.
