Point and shoot cameras

I'm just looking around on B&H at their point and shoot cameras trying to see what is the latest and greatest these days. Care to share your thoughts on which point and shoot cameras are the best of the best?

Not a lot, but Canon G11 all the way.

Ummmm .... The Canon G11 is now a discontinued camera. (Of course that doesn't mean you cannot find a new leftover, or a used G11) The new G12 is available.

G11 - Discontinued

Canon G12

Oh and I am +1 on the G11 or the G12

Canon all the way with P&S.

G12 if you need all the bells and whistles.

S95 if you want something more compact that will have pretty similar IQ.

When Canon and Nikon bring out an EVIL (Electronic Viewfinder Interchangeable Lens) camera, they'll kill the PEN and NEX IMHO.
