POSTS PER PAGE PLEASE PLUS PLENTY

Alex,

I mentioned this before, but thought I might make a thread for it.

Presently I think that 5 posts per page per thread (or however you say it) isn't enough.

I'd ideally like the ability to choose how many posts we get up on a page (I'd choose 50 or so).

BUT I'd settle with 15-20 per page. This way we could follow conversations etc. easier.

I just moved it to 15, I need to get some more content to fill on right and left so it doesn't look bare ;)

Looks good. How about a block of latest albums (like the latest members) to remind us to stop talking for a minute and enjoy them

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

Excellent and thanks for the prompt action.

Right now 15 seems like a nice sweet spot. Not too long to load and long enough that you get a fair chuck of conversation per page. :)

I like this amount of post per page. I would have said 10 to 15, but the 15 seems to be working nicely. I like Baydreams idea with the latest in gallery square.

I'm still pushing for 50.

I suggest 50 too. But some threads (like PIC WARS) would load REALLY slow if there were 50 animated gifs per page. ;)

I'm with you. With animated gifs or multiple inserted photos, some pages take a long time to get down to the bottom.
How about a "last post on page" (or "latest post") button?

Also like to see that little bell from the inbox in the bar beside the "welcome" above this box. If you forget to go back to your profile page, you don't know if you have messages.

That's why you give people the option in the preferences.

Right. 15 as standard with the option to select more (or less) if you want. IMHO this would be the best way to go.

15 should be standard, I agree. :P
