my last thread by Photobod

This is my last posting for the forseeable future in the forums folks, it is my reply to Alex regarding the comments made in the bar n grill and my thread "I am out of here".
All the best to you folks for the most part it has been a pleasure.

Not quite Alex, according to all three I am the one that has misunderstood the postings, not one of them has even thought to apologise directly too me, Stealthy Ninja goes as far as to say I posted a "thinly veiled thread" and over reacted.
the only thing that was thinly veiled was his comment in the bar n grill about me being like Stephen, it took Stealthy Ninja a further two days to post his comment that the reference was to some one they liked, if in the first place this was supposed to be a compliment, as suggested, then why was the post made in the way it was, there is no way I could have took it in the manner they are now saying it was intended, if three people are talking about someone and it was well intentioned, then why post in the way they did out in the open for me to see.
As I have already said to you maybe I am over reacting, maybe I should have ignored it, but its hard to ignore something so obviously intended to get a reaction, otherwise why post it, I just dont think it was a well thought out posting and I dont think they thought the reaction would be this openly discussed or that the support for me would be as prolific as it has been, I am so pleased that there was open support for me and I thank all those that did.
I only hope that there is a lesson to be learned here and that those responsible are far more careful in the future, I am not saying dont have fun, just reread reread and reread again before posting.
You know how much I have loved being a part of this venture and I will support you by keeping in touch with the articles and photo galleries but I will not be taking an active part in the forums for the forseeable future, it wont be easy to do that as I miss the forums already but I feel it is my only choice.

Thanks for your support to me Alex it has been much appreciated.

Regards David.

I am posting this reply as a thread Alex, it will be my last contribution to the forums and I am only posting it because I think it will hopefully improve things within the forums for the future.

All the best to everyone if you want to stay in touch you know where I am.

I'm sorry, but after reading every thing yesterday, I found nothing that was so profound to cause a reaction like this. I'm a loner here, so have no ties to anyone, nor no loyalty, just my honest opinion. This tread is just stirring up drama, un needed drama. Are we in high school here where people are so over sensitive? If you don't get along with someone, don't play in the same threads as them, looking over older post, you have been noticed poking others yourself! Including the above mentioned ninja guy.

I don't know you and I don't know the situation, but it's always sad to see someone leave. I know I am new, and people come and go all the time, but it's still sad. :(

Agreed.

Photobud, you already made a goodbye thread. Now you're making another one. You've jabbed back out of fun with everybody. You're just looking for attention now when everybody tried to make amends with you.

If you wanted to just reply to alex, you could have done so in PMs.

This is annoying and trolling. You're picking a fight that was never meant to be one, and is over.

PS. I just caught this, so I edited my post. You said nobody apologized. I have Private Logs saved of our conversation after this happened, where you received an apology from me.
