Travel tripod that is smaller than Peak Design tripod

3 months 3 weeks ago #762900 by Remy Hedrick
As I mentioned in another thread, we are heading to Cabo Mexico April 17th and I'm trying to downsize my entire kit if I'm going to bring with me.  I currently have a Peak Design tripod, which is pretty small.  I've had this for 4 years and just checking to see if there are any tripods that have come to market since that are smaller?

It's a pretty simple matter to check manufacturer's specifications yourself, rather than asking others to think for you.

I wouldn't pay attention to the other comment.  He's the resident a-hole here who doesn't have any social skills and misses the point of what a forum is.  Likely because he doesn't have any friends, for reasons why we see over and over again with his rude posts here.

That said, and UNDERSTANDING your question, no I don't know of any other tripods on the market that from a size standpoint are smaller than what you already have.   Unless you would consider something like GorillaPod, which of course doesn't have the height you may be after.

Peak Design has this covered, but I will say there was a new tripod that came out last year or might have been the year before that is about the same size as Peaks tripod.  I want to say it started with "H", hopefully someone else knows which one I'm talking about and shares the name with you.

Hope you had a good trip, what did you end up using for this trip?
