Camera caddy to stabilize tripod?

I'm thinking about picking up one of these fotosharp camera caddies to help stabilize tripod. I'm just wondering how easy is this to take on and off? I'm thinking with just a little weight in the center of tripod will make this much more secure to the ground when I have larger telezoom lenses on camera. Thoughts?

A small camera bag (or other bag) with or without rocks will do the trick.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

How would you fasten a camera bag under tripod?

Some have a hook for this, otherwise a couple of those Velcro cable ties should work.

Recycle. Pick up one of those plastic shopping bags you see laying around everywhere. Put the 'pod's legs through the handles and open up the legs. For weight throw in some empty cans or water bottles, rocks ... what ever. Then pack it all (less rocks) to the recycling center.

No matter how fast I go, there's always someone slower in front of me.
