I suppose carbon comes in other colors check with some of the site sponsors online catalogs

I checked a few of them from below... I remember seeing some had a tripod that came in anodized colors - aluminum??? I'll post the url if I find it again.

Or you can annodize one yourself. I have annodized alot of aluminum parts. All you need is a vat I have used trash container, wallpaper trays for longer parts. You need enough Sulpheric Acis to cover the parts well while suspended and a car battery charger. You buff the aluminum till it is clean with steel wool and rinse with water then you put an exposed wire along the bottom of the vat hooked to the positive lead, then you take a wire and suspend the part in the vat not touching anything. Then you turn on the chrger, you watch it till it changes to a nice gray color and shut off the charger and, then you have a second vat with water in it dyed with fabic dye in it, during the rinse is when the color you want is achieved. Not feeling that ambitious then the links Bay gave are about all I have seen. :lol:

For not too much $$ you can get transit tripods in many colors. You'll need to adapt the head for a camera, but they can hold a LOT of weight and don't cost much.
