How are you washing or caring for your canvas bags? Can these go into the wash?

I got a few Domke bags, but never had to wash one. Have you tried spot cleaning?

Matthew :)

PS, if you feel a need for some Tide, I'd remove the padding as much as I could before tossing it in the washing machine. I don't think it would hurt it though, if given plenty of time to dry (no high heat). They're well made bags.

I agree, yeah these are great bags. I had a hot dog spill on it, leaving some catsup, mustard and relish on the bag. So I think a good wash should remove all this. Just hope the bag doesn't shrink!

Thanks for the tip!

Spot cleaning should do it. It's all I've ever done to mine.

Just washed mine cuz the cat peed on it and it came out fine- let it air dry and all is well.

I'm sure they can if they tolerate the washing machine
