Alex Schult created a new topic ' What was the first camera that you owned?' in the forum. 5 minutes ago

I was talking to a friend this morning and they asked what was my first camera that I owned.  Now I remember what the first DSLR that I owned was (which was a Nikon D90).  However I couldn't recall what my VERY first camera was.

I know it was a point and shoot Canon of some sort and I was in middle school.  I had received it from Santa and it was a 35mm.  I remember during the summer months, I would mow Mr. Browns lawn for $5 on Sunday and would run out and buy some film for it!  Most of the time, my grandparents would chip in and buy it for me.  That $5 always seemed to disappear so quickly!

Anyway, do you remember what your very first camera was?

I'll do anything within an hour's drive of home base. Beyond that the time involved is such that additional fees are warranted. That said, I have colleagues that charge beyond a 25 mile radius. I know others that will go 100 miles without charging. Just depends on your temperament I suppose, and the size of the job, of course.

I've let my grown children use my gear under my supervision. Was still a mistake. Don't do it!
