Okay the comment about the Hassleblad just made almost fall out of my chair... Have you seen the newest model, 007?

Also, I'm down at 24 as well, just because of the fluidity of the image and the clarity on our devices today. Don't really need anything way above that.

I may be being a bit biased... but I see a giant H formed in the center...

Like I said, I may be biased ;)

The story goes that William wanted to marry his first cousin. To get permission from the Pope, he agreed to build two churches in Caen, this, the Men's abbey and another, the Women's abbey. They amazingly survived the two month long siege of Caen by the allies in WWII, when this church served as a shelter, and the surrounding town was almost destroyed. I'll post some more images soon.
Thanks for your comments!:)

I honestly have no idea how you got this shot... That's some talent right there man. Good work.

Any advice on how to snag something going that fast?

This might be way off base, but are you selling any giant wall frames of this shot? I'd love that in my house!

It's almost like you can hear the waves coming in on the rocks while looking at it. Amazing.

Thanks for that Glenn!

It looks pretty sweet. Once I have a working budget to snag one, I might just pull the trigger on it.

Did you own one when you first started? What's your daily?

That's a cool shot! The only thing I would say to look to in future shots would be to focus on depth... it almost looks like the dog is right next to the girl. I don't know, I could be way off base.

Just wanted to share what I was thinking when I looked at it!

Haha that's one way to put it! He has a way with words.

Hopefully we can see some comparison shots and see what it can do in the near future. I'm sure that some die hard Sigma fans exist out there that would love to get their hands on it.

Just to clarify, what makes more of a difference is the size of the sensor, right? Not so much the megapixels? So for someone like me that isn't printing huge images, I should be more concerned with sensor size?

That's my understanding, yes.

Sigma has some good glass from what I've read.   85mm f/1.4 sure looks like a pretty sweet fast lens.  I was talking to another photographer a few weeks ago, he was saying older Sigma glass was mainly junk, however the new was pretty stinking awesome as he put it.

I'm not a pro by any means, but I hope to be someday. That said, it seems to me that most people talk about word of mouth and referrals as being the primary ways to generate business.
