With a military grade durability rating and ten year warranty, the Tiffen HT Polarizer is a filter that will last you a long time--which is good, since it's kind of on the pricey side. The HT in the name stands for High Transmission, from the transmission and anti-reflective coatings. The clarity on these filters is excellent, leading to good image quality. With a light reduction of only 1.3 stops, the filter can be used in a wider range of conditions as well. Tiffen filters are also made in the U.S.

The biggest complaint some consumers have is that the thin design is too small to use on a lens with a curved front element--the filter will touch the lens in that case. The price is also over $100, making it harder for hobbyists to pick up. Still, the Tiffen HT Polarizers offer solid quality and an excellent build that's worth looking into if the price doesn't scare you.
