Dan Watson, a drone photography enthusiast, was out on a trip to the beach with his family a few weeks ago when he decided to pull his drone, the DJI Mavic 2 Pro, out. That's when he noticed a shark headed directly towards his children just a few yards away.
The first photo is of his wife and children in the water, with the shark seemingly swimming right for them.
The second photo is their frantic run to the beach after Watson yelled at them that he saw a shark.
"Definitely too close of an encounter for my liking," Watson wrote. "Thinking my DJI drone is now coming with me to every beach day!!!"
Editor's Tip: When having photos printed, one thing that people often miss is examining the type of materials used for the print. For the highest-quality prints, ensure that the printer uses commercial-grade inks resist moisture and fading for a long-lasting, beautiful print. If you choose to have a canvas print made, ensure the printer uses fine art-grade canvas because it's more durable. Get the scoop on the best canvas print companies in this head-to-head comparison.
While the likelihood that the shark would have attacked a member of his family is pretty low, it's still an incredible and hilarious moment to capture on film (provided it didn't happen to you).
