90 degree viewfinder

Is Hoodman the only company that makes a 90 degree viewfinder? I can't seem to find anyone else that makes one. Just checking. I found a couple on eBay, but they were no brands made in China. The problem I'm having is taking low to the ground photos and seeing though the view finder.

Very nice to meet you!

Canon and Nikon make them. Adorama also carries a "Pro Optic" model. (Cheaper but with lower ratings).
Seagull in China also makes one.
Amazon has an Opteka model with a better rating.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

Hoodman seems to have removed all evidence of the right angle viewfinder from it's web site. Call in CSI?

I got a used Pentax rt. angle finder from KEH, not sure if they'd have anything that would work for you. I think if you search the brand of camera it would be listed under Camera Accessories or Acessories Misc.

The Chinese Seagull brand right angle finder available from several vendors on eBay is quite good.. I have one and am very happy with it. Before purchasing I searched web forums and got mostly favourable reviews from people who actually have one. The construction is solid enough for the use I give it and the image in the finder does not leave me wanting. I haven't used the Nikon finder to compare. I suspect Nikon (and Canon) is better build quality and probably better optics, though how observable that difference is in practice I don't know. I do know that there is nothing about the Seagull that makes me wish I'd bought a "better" one. It's a useful tool that does the job well and for the limited use I give it, it's good value for money. I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Regards,
Chris
