Any tips on photographing fireworks?

Almost forgot! 4th of July is right around the corner. I sure could use some tips on photographing fireworks if you no of any. Thanks :patriot:

use a tripod, set the shutter for bulb, keep shutter open for a few bursts, close shutter

There is an article on PT on fireworks. It says
ISO100
4 sec exposure
f/11
focus for infinity

Yep.. and a wide enough angle lens to cover the sky area where the shells will burst..

Shot from sundeck on a houseboat - not the most stable platform.. hence the camera shake..
