Just curious everyones thoughts of the download button that is under your photos in your albums. I didn't think we were suppose to be able to download others photos. At least without permission? I have received notice 2 people have downloaded one of my photos. Why is that available?

A good question.

Admins, care to comment?

No matter how fast I go, there's always someone slower in front of me.

You can change that in the settings for your albums, either all albums or one by one. If you're on the page showing all your albums, press the big plus sign above the albums and choose User settings.

From there you can control who can download your photos.

You only have to change it once for all your albums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, that kinda bothers me.

I have reported this as a "Problem". Everyone should check but hopefully new accounts will be "Only Me" for downloads. It may have been changed to that since we signed up but the request has been made.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

What I am seeing when I go to the Plus for the photo albums is a Permissions and Notifications. but under it all is blank and the okay button. Does this mean I have already done this because I don't recall it.

Under Permissions you should see this:

If you don't see this, I guess something's wrong. I have experienced certain problems with Flash in Chrome here on photographytalk. This could be a simillar issue.

I only download my photos here at 72 dpi so don't think you can do a whole lot with them , I don't know why anyone would want to upload photos at the 2m they allow you here.
