This just shows that while the Canon users are messing about on FB all the Nikon users are out taking great photos with they're far superior cameras.. :o)

I didn't see this poll either, Except the one I posted on here a month or so ago asking that same question. It was pretty even last I checked. They are both good cameras so you can't go wrong with either.

Well another Nikon user here that dint see the poll. Some of us arent on everyday. Plus we are out actually shooting instead of sitting on the computer.
But as Henry said they do get the novice business. I used to shoot Pentax for film and shoot Nikon for digital now. Didnt even consider Canon and that was because of the lens mounts. I like to use older glass sometimes.

Henry Peach wrote: In the 20 years I've been paying attention there's always been more Canon users than Nikon users. But if you sort the photographers into groups based on experience Canon's lead is mostly among beginners. Canon does a better job selling to the person buying their first SLR. In the group that's been shooting for a few years the numbers even out.

When I was selling cameras (1990s) I liked all brands except Canon. I was an anti-Canon fanboy. :toocrazy: Even with me trying to nudge folks towards the Nikon and Pentax SLRs I still sold a lot of Canons. They rule the marketing somehow.

Sore loser :P

I loved my old 1d mark III. Canon days were sometimes fun.

The ol' 400 f/2.8 next to a sigma 70-200.
