Shooting through water

13 years 3 months ago #18389 by dotell
Living in Florida I naturally get lots of chances to take photos of fish in the water. One night last week I had the chance for an unusually close up photo, but it's hard to make out what I was shooting at through the glare on the water. Would a polarizer filter cut the glare? And what kind of filter works better, if there's a difference - the circular PL or the Linear one?

I would suggest a circular polarizer.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

A polarizer would probably be a great help with that type of photo. A circular polarizer would be even better but would cost more, too. So, I guess that's 5 votes for the circular polarizer. Guess you have your answer - at least from this site.
