Typical car or truck for photographers?

I was looking and took a test drive in a new Jeep Wrangler last night, and have to say those have gotten real nice. I'm kind of curious as to what other photographers drive? Do you buy cars around the idea of lugging camera equipment in and out of your car/truck? This might be different for those who actually make money at photography and how they determine what vehicle they buy. But everyone else, who does photography as a hobby, do you let your hobby impact what you buy?

No I don't let photography impact the car I buy. I buy a car, that I love and can afford. I want a Mazda RX8. As much as I would love to have that car (and a couple other fast cars on my list), it's not happening. lol My husband doesn't make that much. lol

So I drive a Pontiac G6 GT. Which still works for me for a sporty car. It's a go fast car
I had a Mazda 626. Loved that car. But I lost it in a garage fire a few years ago. My husband said, as much as he loved the car himself, and loved me having the car, he is sorta glad I lost it, because he was afraid I may kill myself driving it. :)

I have a Chevy S-10 extended cab 4x4 which is very beat up. Works for me most of the time. Wish I still had my old military REO 6x, that thing went anywhere anytime.

Could you drive that on the normal streets?

Is a car or truck even needed over there? Long time ago when I lived in New York City I left my car in California, wasn't needed and actually after seeing how much of a PITA it is to have a car in the city, glad we didn't have one up there!
