what do you do with lens cases from manufacture?

Do you use yours to store your lenses? Or are yours in storage like mine?

If the lenses are not in my bag or backpack, then I try to keep them in the cases.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

Think Tank is good. Lowepro is OK.

Mine are just in the camera bag, my cases are in the boxes the lens originally came in.

I have some of them on the shelf and some with lenses in them, most of the lenses I use regularly are in camera bags though

Same here, however if I'm going on a hike and want to go with a light load, I have started just bringing one lens in it's case.

They stay in the box from which the lens came from. If my lens isnt in the camera bag it sits on a shelf.
