So would this be equivalent to a craigslist photographer?

But he was so inexpensive.

Those photos are really bad! I would like to see the EXIF information on a few of those. They are really underexposed and REALLY poorly composed.

I know! I looked at the shots a few times and makes you wonder about how fresh off the boat this photographer must have been. Or just drunk and didn't change a setting on the camera

That photographer shouldn't have been taking photos for hire. Bottom line.

Lousy job, but what did the newlyweds think they were getting? No responsibility to do some research, just Walmart me a photo, please.....

Why so serious?

Should have just shot RAW and fixed them in post...

Seriously though, this is a great story to bookmark and show the sample photos to clients who are considering a Craigslist "pro" photographer at a much cheaper price.

I'm going to agree with Effron. Granted the photographer did take some really crappy photos, but honestly what were they expecting?

It has to be said that the B&G have to take some responsibility here, I really feel for them but hey they checked him out then booked him, looking at these photos there is no way that any photos he showed them could have been his own, sad story but a lesson to be learned

If I needed photos of a special event, I would at least ask to references and a portfolio. Can't say that I feel all that bad for them.

The photographer did not speak with integrity, no matter what the bride and groom wanted the photographer knew he was lousy, if he knew he wasnt prepared to take this job he should had spoken up...SO NOW HIS CRAPPY WORK SHOWS HERE and thats embarrassing' so anyways well the bride and groom possibly are not experienced with photography, they must be thinking the photographer should know what hes doing but bride and groom could had done more research and heres the outcome... so they both are responsible...... . Personally I put the responsibility on the Photographer ' and he should be sued for not being honest from the beginning....
