Would you use this?  I have a cotton carrier from a year ago, but first time seeing this piece of body armor.  Not sure about this

Probably useful in the right circumstance. Personally, I couldn't use it, it would interfere with my shoulder holster......:)

Why so serious?

This reminds me of something that would come out of Inspector Gadgets coat at the time of danger.

Seriously, if it's made like their normal system, I'm sure the craftsmanship is spot on.  Would I use this though?  Not really, I would most likely use it a couple times and move on.  These guys make some cool stuff, so I'm sure there are photographers out there that need and are digging this rig.

Yeah, if you're using a lens like that you really should be using a tripod, don't you think?

Why would someone use this?  There would still be body movement, so why not just just your tripod?

So, why would you use this vs a monopod?

For video, where you need to HOLD the camera STEADY a long time and might not be able to use a tripod. This COULD be a good device. Just don't breathe too heavily.

hello i am an owner of both the cc and the arm
and i can say that with me i find the arm pretty useless with any larger zooms ( sigma 120-300mm ) i had to turn on the os
witch to me defeated the purpose there is a lot of shake even with smaller lens. a mono pod is a much better choice imho

Yeh, I'm guessing the main purpose of this product is for video shooters who have to hold their camera steady for a long time.
