BEFORE you watch this video, do you want to give a guess to this question?  Were you right?  :)

The eye is analogue, it has no resolution.

Either way that was interesting.  I'm sure this has some merit.

One issue with this excellent presentation was that different human brains process images and other data differently. Studies of autism. In the high end (Aspergers), the brain processes images and other data in a very different way.

In "Born on a Blue Day",  Daniel Tammet explains how he does complex mathematical calculations. He has the ability to express that he converts the numbers to colors, does the calculation, then converts back to numbers to supply the answer.

In Psychology Today, Lynne Soraya explains how she sees thing differently, including peripheral vision. www.psychologytoday.com/blog/aspergers-d...things-seeing-things

Temple Grandin (Thinking in Pictures) explain how she can visualize the world from a cow's view and undestand how to build more efficient, humane cattle handling.

Thus, vision varies with each individual so we must watch the video from the viewpoint of an "average" person.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

Taking a sight tangent here....

With regards to the brain processing things differently, I think the film "Temple Grandin" was exceptional on every level, and did a great job of helping you identify with her world view. I was unsure about watching the film but highly recommend it.

"A Beautiful Mind" is also worth a watch, from this perspective. And "Little Man Tate" does the same for mathematics. Very much enjoyed both of them.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.
